Sport Facilities in London
London has a great number of diverse sport facilities for professionals, amateurs, adults and children. Everyone will find a place to practise their favourite sport, be it swimming, golf, ice skating or any other discipline. The only Olympic-size swimming pool in the city is the London Fields Lido, which has attracted crowds of swimmers since 2006 when it was renovated and reopened. Lee Valley Golf Course and Cuddington Golf Club both provide 18-hole golf courses among beautiful surroundings to meet the expectations of even the most demanding golfers. Fans of ice skating can hit the ice in such landmark places as the Canada Square Park, between the colonnades of the Old Royal Naval College or in front of the Hampton Court Palace where temporary ice rinks are set up in the winter. Additionally, at any time of the year you can let your muscles rest at the Hampton Heated Open Air Pool.

built on the top of a reservoir. The terrain is
challenging, but still excellent for golfers of all

November and February. The rink is ideal for
