Cinemas in Milan
Going to the cinema is a popular leisure activity in Milan, as evidenced by the number of multi-screens in the city centre. There are also many suburban multiplexes that show mainly Hollywood blockbusters. On the whole, cinemas in Milan, as anywhere else in the country, screen films dubbed into Italian and without subtitles. Nevertheless, more and more cinemas are realising that many people would rather watch films in English as some movies sound very unnatural in Italian.
