Amsterdam Clubs
Amsterdam is well-known for its wild club scene, but in reality there are also many cosier and more homey places, so everyone will find a venue that’ll suit their taste. Of course, there are many big nightclubs, like the famous Escape, hosting the best DJs from around the world, and they’re the core of Amsterdam's clubbing scene. Most of them are located in Rembrandtplein, which together with Leidseplein is the centre of Amsterdam’s nightlife. If you don't want to go dancing, you can try your luck in a casino (remember about the dress code!) or listen to live music at renowned jazz clubs such as The Bourbon Street Jazz and Blues Club or The Bimhuis. Clubs in Amsterdam are usually open from 10 or 11pm to 4am during the week, and 5am at the weekends, and are a rather expensive form of entertainment.
