Concert Halls in Vienna
Vienna is regarded by many as the music capital of Europe. Most often the city is associated with classical music, such as Mozart and his works; however, it turns out that Vienna has much more to offer. Even at one of the most traditional concert halls – the Wiener Konzerthaus – apart from classical music, you can also listen to modern, jazz and world music. Additionally, there are many more venues featuring virtually all kinds of music so every music fan will find an event they would like to attend. A very popular and one of the oldest jazz clubs in Vienna, for example, is the Jazzland that has featured great concerts since 1972 in the 500 year-old cellar below the landmark Ruprechtskirche.
