Concert Halls in London
Apart from such world famous venues as the Royal Albert Hall (the oldest concert hall in London, inaugurated as early as 1871) and theWembley Arena (where not only important sport events but also legendary concerts took place), there are many more concert halls differing in size and atmosphere in London. There is the Hammersmith Apollo – an impressive concert hall with a rich history that has hosted the concerts of such stars as Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles, and last, but not least, the O2 Arena – a very modern stadium. If you're looking for smaller and more cosy venues featuring live jazz and blues, check out Ronnie Scott's, The Bulls Head Barnes and the Vortex.
