Foreign students in the Netherlands
University accommodation in the Netherlands is next to none. However, housing will often be arranged for those who are participating in an exchange programme or an international course. If this is your case, you should accept it without objection, otherwise you are likely to experience problems in finding a place to live, especially in Amsterdam and around. Already in the Netherlands and still looking for housing? Take the initiative by asking for advice from the international relations office or the student dean; you can also let your fellow students know that you are in need of a room.
