Luxembourg is a small country with lots of entertainment from river voyages to spa centres. There is a diverse range of restaurants and cafes, from French cuisine to Chinese. Casinos in Luxembourg are only situated in the capital city, Luxembourg. There is one main fast food chain called Quick in Luxembourg and it serves burgers, chicken and chips. Luxembourg has many bars which play live music. There are many nightclubs, most are only open during the weekends, however some are open during the week, the majority of clubs play music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. There are only two casinos in total and they are the Casino 2000 and Mondorf-les-Bains. Nightfall brings out music and lights on the Place d'Armes Luxembourg City's most colourful square.


There are four main national parks across the country; Parc Naturel de la Haute Sûre, Parc Naturel de l'Our, Parc Naturel de la Moselle and Parc Naturel Transfrontalier. The Parc Naturel de la Moselle is the biggest national park in Luxembourg; it has a wide variety of walks from the forests to the open fields. There is much to see in the way of wildlife with many sheep, cows, and goats. The park also offers alternative routes for bicycles but with just as much beauty as the walks. The best recommended months to visit the park are April or May, as the new flowers and animals wake up after the winter. Luxembourg Park is the only amusement park in the country; the park offers slides and climbing structures using the park's trees, activities in the high trees have high restrictions. There is a zoo inside the amusement park which is home to 150 animals from lemurs to penguins. On certain days and times visitors can help feed animals such as the sheep and rabbits. The amusement park also offers a train rides around the park and the zoo.

Three festivals take place every year in Luxembourg; they're called Art on Cows, Music of Spring and Music International. The festival, Art on Cows, takes place in April in the capital city. The Festival is an art event where people paint models of cows in bright colours. The celebration marks the advent of summer and the bright colours symbolise the brightness of the summer season. Anybody willing can take part. The music festivals take place in the capital during the months of March and May; The Music of Spring obviously celebrates the arrival of spring and new life. The music played is a mixture of jazz and swing. The International Festival takes place in May and June and celebrates the world and its countries with a diverse mix of music from around the world, from Big Band to Bhangra.

You can take a romantic voyage along the river Sûre including an overnight trip. also, hiking in Luxembourg is highly popular; almost one third of the country is covered by green forests and mountains. Golfing is also available with six golf clubs in Luxembourg two of the clubs are situated in the capital; the other four are situated in major cities like Clervaux. Water sports like boating, kayaking and canoeing are available on the river Sûre. You can also arrange your own cycling and walking tours. Wine tasting tours in the Moselle Valley give you a fantastic experience of the country and its delicious white wine. There is a spa centre in Luxembourg in Clervaux. The spa offers treatments such as relationship guidance and stress releasing treatments as well as the traditional treatments such as massages and Jacuzzi.
