The safari begins with a snowmobile ride to a nearby reindeer farm, where you will be initiated into the Lappish culture and learn more about reindeer husbandry. You will also participate in the ceremony of 'crossing the Arctic Circle'. Prior to your reindeer ride a professional reindeer herder will show you how to handle the beast in front of your sledge. You will then have a go on your own, and you will soon find the animal to be friendly, though somewhat self-willed! At the end of a successful ride, a reindeer driving license is your reward!

At the conclusion of your visit to the reindeer farm, you will ride your snowmobile back to the Safari Club, before being transferred to a local restaurant where a Lappish specialties lunch awaits.

In the afternoon you will visit the Santa Claus Village where you will meet the man himself! You will also have around an hour to do some shopping in Santa's Mall and send a postcard from Santa's own post office in the village. At the end of the day you will be transferred back to the airport for your return flight to Helsinki.
