TOUR DESCRIPTION
The Danube Bend signifies the 12 mile (20 kilometer) long bend of the Danube beginning at Visegrad. A visit to former Royal Residence and to Esztergom, the center of the Catholic Church are highlights of the day. Also enjoy a visit to the Baroque village of Szentendre, the town of museums, which house the work of local artists.
Full Day Danube Bend Tour is an excursion into Hungary's history.First you will travel to Visegrad, the former Royal Residence and to Esztergom (Center of the Catholic Church). Following a visit inside the Cathedral, enjoy a 3 course lunch with coffee.
After lunch you will continue onto the Baroque Artists' Village of Szentendre for a guided walk to visit the magnificent Caprice Hungarian Jewelry Center, followed by a coffee and soft drinks.
Your tour returns to Budapest by boat on the Danube (May 01 to September 30 only, tide permitting) and will end at the Pier. During other times or at low tide you will return by bus to the city center.
