TOUR DESCRIPTION
From the Mosquetin linen and wool mills, you will travel around the fishing villages of the "Coast of Death". The sanctuary of Nosa Se�ora da Barca overlooking the furious sea near Muxia, Camarinas well known because of the lacer handicraft, and its spectacular lighthouse at the Cabo Vilan are some of the highlights of this full day tour.
This tour is seasonal and operates from mid July to mid September only.
arture from A Coruna to the Batanes de Mosquetin for a stop at the group of ancient mills used in the 18th century to produce wool and linen. Next stop is at Muxia, a small fishing town. Visit the famous sanctuary of Nosa Se�ora Da Barca located just over the beaten coast.
Continue to Cabo Vilan and see the Vilan lighthouse, built after a tragic shipwreck happened in 1890, and where you can admire an impressive view over the Costa da Morte.
Camarinas will be the next destination on today's itinerary. Enjoy a stop in the small fishing town with whitewashed houses and winding streets. Women are, still working out the very typical lace handiworks of the region.
Stop at Laxe, a small seaport town and summer resort with a long sandy beach in the center of the town, medieval streets and some buildings from the 14th - 15th centuries.
Visit Malpica which is built on the top of the cliffs. This town shelters the main fishing harbor in this area. Whaling was one of its most important industries in the 17th century.
Finally a stop to visit Buno and the Pottery Center to see the traditional ceramics made in this village since medieval times.
