Visit Pazo de Meiras, this manor house belonged to the Galician writer Emilia Pardo Bazan and later on to Franco's family who are still its owners. It is a perfect example of a typical Galician manor house.

Next stop is Sada located on the mouth of the Ria de Betanzos, this town is known as the pearl of the Las Marinas area. It has an active fishing port and an important sportive harbor.

A stop in the medieval town Betanzos, capital of As Marinas dos Condes area. Its historic center is one of the best preserved in the region and it offers examples of medieval architecture such as the churches of Santa Maria de Azogue, Santiago or San Francisco. You will have free time to walk through the typical market. Walk down the Pasatiempo-Garden.

Enjoy a walk in The Fragas do Eume area which was recently declared Natural Park. It has 9,126 hectares and it is one of the most interesting Atlantic Forest in the region.

Stop at Pontedeume a small fishing town founded in 1271 and situated at the bottom of the Ares estuary. Its narrow streets remind us its medieval origin. The most remarkable monument in the town is the tower of the Andrade, the family who were the landlords of this area in the Middle Ages.

The way back to A Coruna follows along the coast road, from where spectacular views over the High Estuaries can be admired.
