Established in the 1700 Century, the architecture of Frederiskstaden was to be the ideal part of town and intended to celebrate the city, its citizens, the King and divinity by connecting the harbour of Copenhagen with the Royal Palace, the Marble Church and the luxurious residences for the nobles.
