Alain and Brigitte welcome you in their Hotel de la Muette situated in the center of the old town, only 100 meters away from the arenas. The ancient house, built in the XII th and XV th century has been renovated and redecorated in a typical provencal style. Occupied first by celtic tribes, then by a greek colony, Arles becomes Roman when Julius Caesar gives the colony to the veterans of his legions. This is the first golden age of arles, rome in gaull.
