HOTEL DESCRIPTION
Here are some detailed information about our property: Facing the old city remparts, at 10 mn by walk from the Popes´ palace and the famous Saint-Benezet bridge, the Avignon Grand Hotel is a four-star hotel, with 103 rooms, with three different categories: Standard room (20sqm) a simple and comfortable room. The Superior-Major (39 sqm) has one bedroom (with a large bed) and one lounge, the bathroom is equipped with one bathtub and one separate shower. For twin or triple, we put an extra large bed in the lounge. Please note that all suites are the same, the view can be either the remparts or the inside garden (some of them have a balcony or a terrasse). The Suite-Duplex apartment (60 sqm) is a two-storey apartment with a living-room (with convertible couch), a shower room and toilet on the ground floor and on the first floor: two bedrooms (one with a large bed, one with 2 single beds) with balcony, and a bathroom with toilets. The kitchenette may be opened on request (additional charge). All rooms have individual air-conditioning or heating, minibar, telephone, satellite TV, pay-tv, safe and hair dryer. For your leisure and comfort: a swimming pool (round one) opened from May to October is located on the roof, we also have a solarium, a bar opening onto the inside garden and a restaurant offering a typical provençal cuisine. Our conferences rooms may welcome up to 160 persons and all have the day light. A public underground car park is located underneath the hotel at a daily charge of 12 euros.
