The resort is impressively set amongst 87 acres of manicured gardens and forest walks and was established over 100 years ago in 1890. Located outside Castlebar in County Mayo, Breaffy House Resort is set on 87 acres of woodland and forest walks and combines all the charm of a country estate with every indulgence of a luxury spa resort. The driveway leads to this sprawling baronial mansion, hidden amid 87 acres of gardens and woodlands. The public areas are furnished with traditional and period pieces. The hotel has recently been restored and and refurbished to also include the Paul Costello designed Life Spa. One of Ireland's first destination spas, our holistic philosophy aims to harmonise mind and body in an environment of pure relaxation. Treatment rooms include our signature Sabbia Med UV photo-treatment and our Rasul mud/steam exfoliation chamber. Kud'os Aqua and Fitness Centre houses the best equipped gym in the West of Ireland with 3 swimming pools, steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi. Rates quoted include free leisure club usage except at peak times. Charges apply for peak times only. Peak times are: 7 am to 9a m and 5 pm to 8 pm Monday to Friday only. Charges are EUR 4.00 per person or EUR 10.00 per family.
