Borgo Storico Seghetti Panichi is set approximately 10 km from the sea and 8 km from the medieval town of Ascoli Piceno. Five spacious suites in the Relais Villa look out over the gardens and have been sumptuously refurnished with beautiful wallpapers, new bathrooms and fine fabrics. Near the swimming pool, with views on the valley, there is the San Pancrazio Cottage, an old farm house which has been converted into 5 De Luxe Studios. As in the Palazzo, these suites, have been elegantly furnished to the every highest standards.The Historic Gardens, designed in 1875 by the German botanist Ludwig Winter with towering palms, oaks, exotic and unusual plants and a lake with statues and a Japanese bridge, will delight any gardens lover. The gardens, thanks to Bioenergetic Landscapes techniques, are the first in Italy to have Bioenergy areas which widen the spectrum of well being that man gives to mankind. The recently restored stables have become a space for contemporary art exhibitions, concerts, courses and seminars. The nearby ‘bookshop’ displays the best examples of local craftsmanship, souvenirs and gardening tools. The restaurant ‘La Quintana’ serves local dishes with natural and genuine flavours. Visitors have much enjoyed touring the southern Marche: Ascoli Piceno – ‘a jewel of sculpted pale-grey travertine’ Offida, Fermo and other tiny hilltowns of the interior.
