This is the neighbourhood where the people of Barcelona used to live in the middle age; now it's one of the city's best districts to stroll along. The apartment is located close to the Plaça Reial, heart of the Gothico area and a good spot for a drink or an outdoor meal. Also not far from the Escudellers Street where you can find some of the most well known restaurants of traditional catalan cooking. Also on the way to the apartment is the Pompeu Fabra University which occupies a recently restored building.
