HOTEL DESCRIPTION
We are a university Residence, just 15 minutes by bus from Malaga centre in a lovely secure area. We have seventy rooms with a capacity for at least 144 beds, in 12 different corridors. Each corridor has at least 3 bathrooms and there are 11 rooms with an en suite bathroom (out of the total 70 rooms). We are only a short bus ride away from all the major tourist attractions in Malaga, including the Cathedral, the Gibralfaro castle, the Arabic fortress (Alcazaba), the Picasso museum, the ruins of the Roman theatre and the birthplace of Picasso. Don’t miss a visit to the Botanical Gardens 'La Concepcion', next to the Residencia. Especially during the summer this is a refreshing place to avoid the heat! We can provide information on timetables and special discount entrance tickets. The bus stop is located right at the entrance of our building and a frequent (every 20 minutes) bus service takes you to the centre and the beach, which are only 15 minutes away from the Residencia. Discount bus cards will make your travel cheaper. Please ask for details when you arrive and we will be more than happy to let you know of the best card to buy. We also have a students' dining room, open for all our guests from October the 1st until July the 7th. Daily lunch menu lunch: EUR 6 per meal from 14.00 to 15.30. Daily dinner menu: EUR 5 from 21.00 to 22.00. We have a laundry service (wash and dry service) - EUR 6.00 for a medium size bag of clothes and you can ask for towels. The bed linen is included with the price of your room. Check in and reception open from 12.30. Check out is before noon. There is a night porter, working from 21.00 until 9.00, taking care of building security. If you arrive between 9.00 and 12.30, please go to the dining room for some rest while your rooms are made ready for you. Our friendly staff speaks English and offers our customers a map with all kinds of information regarding places of interests in the city, like museums, beaches, supermarkets, shops, etc... Please don’t hesitate to pick up your free go-go cards from reception (they offer attractive discounts for restaurants and tourist attractions around Malaga).
