Location
The parador "Alcazar del Rey Don Pedro" as it is known was built on the Alcazar de Arriba, one of the three moorish fortresses of the town. It was used as a residence by king Don Pedro I who turned it into a luxurious Palace, It was also the residence of the Catholic Monarchs during their camping against Granada. The Parador stands on a hill with a view of the betis valley and the fertile farmland surrounding it.

Elegant and light-filled bedrooms, the ones of the fourth floor has a balcony overlooking the "Vega del Cordobes".

One of the most beautiful of all Paradores Restaurants, whose menu boasts a rich and varied selection of dishes made with local produce.
