Fairmont Le Montreux Palace is situated on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland, overlooking the Alps. Built in 1906, this Jewel of Belle-Epoque architecture offers a traditional and elegant atmosphere, and a personalised and attentive service in true Swiss style. The hotel's 235 rooms are luxuriously furnished, offering both comfort and the latest technology. Among usual equipment, all rooms offer public wireless LAN, individually controlled air conditioning and a telephone with voice messaging. Extensive renovation during winter 2008/2009: 90 rooms and suites, lobby, reception area, 3 function rooms and the restaurant La Brasserie have been redesigned in a contemporary style. The hotel offers two bars – Harrys New York Bar: good drinks, traditional bar food, a cosy atmosphere and live music. The new Lobby Lounge is the ideal place for a late breakfast, afternoon tea or a glass of wine in the evening. Guests can enjoy a meal in the restaurant La Brasserie du Palace which serves traditional Swiss cuisine and international dishes. During summer, guests can have a light meal on the terrace and enjoy the breathtaking view on the Alps and Lake Geneva.
