HOTEL DESCRIPTION
The Hotel Central, as its name implies, is conveniently situated for all the local attractions, being close to the beach, the Pavilion Theatre and the working 17th century harbour. The town centre is one minute's level walk away. The dining room is a pleasant venue in which to dine and easily accessible on the ground floor. Our chefs offer a varied menu with a choice of dishes at every meal. The hotel has full central heating for those early and late season breaks and a passenger lift to all floors. The Hotel Central has 28 bedrooms, all en-suite, with colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. Two bedrooms have been specially designed to help guests who have limited mobility, both are on the ground floor and each has a large bathroom, which contains a bath with handrails, an adjustable hand basin and a toilet with room at the side for a wheelchair. On the first floor there is a lounge bar where dancing and live entertainment is provided several nights a week. Guests of the Hotel Central are able to use the facilities of our sister hotel, the Fairhaven, which is located opposite the Hotel Central. The hotel has limited car parking space at the rear which should be reserved at the time of booking.
