HOTEL DESCRIPTION
The hills and Lake Windermere offer probably the cleanest air you can breath in the country. We don't allow smoking in our guest house because we think that our guests need clean air inside as well as outside our guest house. Our aim is to provide a high standard of service and accommodation for a comfortable stay. You are really welcome in our warm family atmosphere. For breakfast we have a selection of cereals along with our full or vegetarian breakfasts. The Crompton is the ideal start to explore the Lake District National Park. It is situated on Lake Road Halfway between the villages of Windermere and Bowness on Windermere, only 5 minutes from the train station and 10 to 15 minutes walk to the Lake. Windermere offers plenty of shops, café and restaurants to suite all tastes. Bowness also has an excellent choice of pubs, shops and restaurants. Latest check-in time is 9.30 pm (if you are coming later please inform).
