The Rondo is situated in the market town of Dumfries in South West Scotland. Positioned only a forty minute drive from England, Dumfries is an area which is remowned for its beautiful unspoilt beaches and verdant countryside. Steeped in history it is surrounded by castles and abbeys and associated with Rabbie Burns, John Paul Jones and Thomas Carlyle. For those of a more active persuasion there are a number of good golf courses, some excellent lochs and rivers for fishing to say nothing of the number of top cycle tracks. Truly something for everyone. The Guest House is in the middle of Dumfries which gives it an excellent central location and is handy for a number of fine restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
