Upper Austria
Upper Austria is an outstanding state of Austria. It is famous for its spectacular landscape; several national parks are situated there: “Kalkalpen”, “Alpenvorland”, as well as the impressive Danube valley. The state offers wonderful opportunities for cycling, with more than 2 000 km of cycling paths. Through the state run the rivers Enns and Inn, which create breathtaking landscapes along their banks. Upper Austria provides excellent horseback riding trails located in the Attersee Lake Region. Worth seeing is the national park Kalkalpen, perfect for hiking. Attractive for visitors are the hot thermal spas, Geinberg and Eurotherme Bad Schallerbach and the health resorts including Bad Ischl and Bad Hall.
