Burgenland
Burgenland is the most eastern and the least populated state in Austria. There are 7 districts and 171 municipalities in it. The territory is much wider from north to south than from west to east. The capital is Eisenstadt. The most attractive thing to be seen in Burgenland is Neusiedler because there are only two lakes in Europe which don’t have natural outflow; one of them is this one. There are also a lot of castles to enter and explore. Another important attraction is the summer festivals in Morbisch and in Sankt Margarethen. Wine lovers can enjoy the numerous different kinds of wines. A huge amount of spas are opened even in winter. Tourists can visit numerous concerts, sports activities, galleries; they can walk along pristine hiking routes and see all that the marvelous landscape of this region has to offer.
