Centre
In the Centre Region of France, in the eastern part of the Loire Valley, was the epicenter of the French royalty. Its name was chosen by the French Government because of the geographical position of the region. There's been a proposal to call it Val de Loire (Valley of the Loire). The Loire Valley has magnificent chateaux, hunting huts and imposing cathedrals. It's visited for its impressive examples of Medieval and Renaissance architecture.
