Lower Saxony
Lower Saxony is known as one of the most beautiful states in Germany. It offers varied scenery from the coast of the North Sea to the hills of the Weserbergland, along with historical cities, cultural traditions and quite a rich history. There are a lot of natural conservation areas, and the modern industries here are well-developed, as well. Its capital is Hannover, situated in the spectacular region between the rivers Elbe and Ems to the east and west, the North Sea coast and the Harz Mountains in the north and south.
