Piedmont
Piedmont or also known as Piemonte is a vast region in Italy, occupying the northwestern part of the country. The landscape of the state is predominantly mountainous. Through the state flows some of the major rivers in Italy, like the Po for instance. The area of Piemonte is rich with wild life and vineyards. Visitors can enjoy the uniquely shaped hills, formed long time ago, when once the area was covered by the Tetide Ocean.
