Tukums
Tukums is a district with a predominantly rural character in the north-western part of Latvia. The district borders Talsi to the north and west, Saldus and Kuldiga to the west, Dobele to the south and Riga and Jelgava to the east. It also has a narrow outlet at the coast of the Gulf of Riga. The administrative centre and only large town in Tukums is the town of the same name. Entertainment possibilities in it are substantially limited, and include a number of local museums and traditional eateries.
