Lublin province
Lublin Province, located in eastern Poland, adjoins territory of both Ukraine and Belarus. A rural region, covered mainly by plains and uplands, has a few fascinating places to be explored. It is a relatively rural and comprises two wild national parks, great destination for hikers and nature-lovers. Lublin, the capital city, is a vibrant university town with remarkable historic district. Much of its land is covered with sandy Loess rock, forming unusual gorges and ravines, especially in the vicinity of Kazimierz Dolny. The miniature town itself is enchanting by itself, with pretty houses and historical sights as well as busy cultural life. Zamosc, rightly dubbed the Pearl of the Renaissance, is a town of incomparable beauty. Two national parks are scenic areas of unspoilt wildlife.
