Estonia
Estonia is a republic in Northeastern Europe, which shares borders with Latvia and Russia. The narrow Gulf of Finland separates it from Finland, and the Baltic Sea separates it from Sweden.
The Pulli settlement was the first in Estonia. These peoples inhabited the land of present-day Estonia around eleven millenniums ago. Hunters and gatherers lived in the area near the town of Kunda, north Estonia around 6500 BC. Stone artefacts and bone have been discovered here and in other areas of the country, as well as in Latvia, Finland and Lithuania. The Kunda culture was widespread in the region toward the middle of the Stone Age.
