Museum of Architecture - The Lodge
The Museum of Architecture – The Lodge, showcasing the city's architectural archives, is installed in a former Masonic lodge, The Human Right. The original setting is across the street from the Centre International pour la Ville, l'Architecture et le Paysage (CIVA) and offers a glimpse into architectural documents, photographs, scale models, furniture, sketches and correspondence.
Held by the Archives d'Architecture Moderne (AAM), the site offers a theme-based exhibition every six months, showcasing parts of the archives, which are believed to be one of Europe's largest. The collection is devoted to architectural expression from 1875 to the present day, by over 200 designers.
