Situated in the eastern zones of Milan, Parco di Trenno is also a part of the bigger structure of the green belt around the city called the Agricultural Park. The park took the name of the district whose population it serves. What the Park of Trenno features characteristic straight lines of the lawns and the alleys. They date back to the time when this land served mainly agricultural needs before it was inaugurated as a public green space in 1971. Parco di Trenno is one of Milan’s largest parks with its surface of more than 590,500 square metres and it features a great deal of sport facilities including playgrounds for football, tennis and some other, typically Italian games.
