Britain At War Museum Charitable Trust
A visit to Britain At War Museum Charitable Trust‎ reveals how it was to live in Britain during the World War II. With special sound effects, artifacts, and even the dust of an air raid, it recreates the wartime with all its fury and evil.
The museum holds a great collection of wax models and authentic military paraphernalia from the period. There is also a large space devoted to the British most famous statesman and Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. Of particular interest are also old radio recordings from the BBC studio presenting the latest political messages from Chamberlain, Roosevelt, Hitler and Lord Haw Haw. Furthermore, the museum provides a special education programme for pupils including 'dressing up' sessions with authentic tin helmets, gas masks and uniforms.
