Location
The Rising Sun Guest House and Lounge is situated on the Waterfrod- Kilkenny Road, just 8 miles from Waterford City. The old world charm of stone and timberwork throughout the building sets the tone of comfort and relaxation. There are many scenic walks including Clonassey Water Falls in the woodlands surrounding Mullinavat. You can also visit the nearby Norman city of Waterford, home of the world famous crystal.

Rooms
There is an allocation of 10 bedrooms, where each room is decorated as the rest of the building to the very highest standard with views of the beautiful Mullinavat countryside.

Restaurant
This re-creation is a work of art with its wind-up bellows so you can stoke up the fire while relaxing with a fine beverage from one of the three bars or enjoying some of the home cooked cuisine.

General
The Rising Sun Function Room is capable of seating 160 - 200 people. For meetings or conferences, the hotel can cater for up to 300 people seated. The tastefully decorated room, which is finished in beautiful native ash, is the ideal setting for your wedding or party.
