A 19th Century Venetian Villa has been transformed and refurbished into a 3-star country hotel. The structure has maintained the particular details, typical of these antique Venetian homes, such as the distinct “fogher” hearth around a large central fireplace, once the heart of domestic activity.
The hotel has its name Hotel Claudia Augusta in honour of the old Roman road which joined the ancient town of Altino with Germany, running right along the land on which the hotel is situated.
In Winter, enjoy a relaxing break snuggled around the fireplace. In Spring and Summer, you can have a taste of one of the many quality local wines, coming from the famous Trevisan Cellars, immerged in the nature of the hotel's pretty private park of 6 hectares.
