Location. Hotel Liene is a small, two floor budget hotel situated among the attractive boulevards and apartment buildings of Riga s New Town, three kilometres from the Old Town with its cathedral and Bastejkalns Park. Riga Airport is 10 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 25 minutes.
Hotel Features. Guests are able to enjoy all the benefits of an authentic Russian sauna, after which they may like to relax by the fire in the lobby. Entertainment is provided by occasional karaoke evenings, and larger functions can be accommodated in the banquet hall. The hotel s reception and information services are available round the clock, and there is secure parking for those arriving by car.

Expert Tip. Keep an eye open for extravagant Art Nouveau motifs on apartment buildings in the New Town, where the bars and cafes are generally cheaper and little more quirky than those in the Old Town. Also worth seeking out is the busy Central Market, impressively housed near the station in two former Zeppelin hangars, and the delightful Cinema Riga, a riot of baroque and rococo architecture.
