Located in a quiet neighbourhood in downtown Zurich, the Widder Hotel consists of eight historical townhouses, all of which are national monuments. The area was named the Augustiner Quarter after a 13th-century Augustinian monastery that no longer exists. The houses were carefully restored between 1990 and 1995 and now feature 42 elegant guest rooms and 7 suites, some with their own roof terrace, as well as dining, meeting and banqueting facilities. No two rooms are alike, each has its distinctive atmosphere and unique furniture. The Widder Restaurant offers quality international cuisine, while the Widder Bar has been a jazz haven for decades, an institution attracting live jazz fans from all over Europe.
