At Europe-Cities.com we offer over 15,000 hotels in more than 500 major European cities. Almost all of the hotels can be booked online. We work as a hotel comparing engine, letting the customer make a deliberate choice of the best available accommodation.
In order to make your hotel search as easy as possible we have introduced several useful search tools. After you have chosen your city from the list, set your dates of stay and click on the Search button. We ask that you be patient. As our system has to check the availability of a large number of hotels in the city of your choice, the search may take up to 20 seconds.
Once the search results show up, you have a few display options. You can sort or narrow down the list of hotels available for your requested dates. Eventually, you can choose between our main partners, Venere.com, Booking.com, ActiveHotels.com, offering you best prices and convenient ways of booking.
DISPLAYING RESULTS
The system will display a list of available accommodation options in the chosen city within the selected dates. We provide you with an overview of each hotel, giving its name, category, district and address as well as a photo, available services and a guest score. You may view the price, or compared prices, at the bottom of each short description.

Just a quick look at the icons presented on a blue stripe and you know what the hotel has to offer in terms of dining, Internet connection, parking and many other facilities. Of course, the more icons, the better the hotel. [see example]

To complete a description of the hotel of your choice, we present you with a couple of pictures of its interior and exterior. To view them, just click on the main photo next to the hotel description.

We understand that the location of the hotel is one of the most important factors in choosing travel accommodations. That is why we have introduced a special 'see on the map' button next to each hotel available on the search results list. Just click 'see on the map' and our system will display the hotel's location on the map, which will emerge as a pop-up window.

You can also find out how other travellers have marked the hotels. Guest score is displayed right next to the 'see on the map' button.

comparison of the best available prices
Every hotel search finishes with the comparison of the best prices offered by our partners: Venere.com, Booking.com, ActiveHotels.com. Each price is per stay and in EUR, unless you chose a different currency. By clicking on the selected price and the name of our partner you will be redirected to their website in order to complete your booking.

SORTING RESULTS
Our system allows you to sort available hotels in four different ways:

low price first
Click this button to sort all hotels from least to most expensive. This sorting solution is applied by default.
high price first
Clicking this button will sort all available hotels from the most to the least expensive.
1-star first
Click this button, if you wish to sort hotels by star rating showing hotels with lowest star rating at the top.
5-star first
This sorting option will display hotels with highest star rating at the top of the search results list.
guest score ascending
Clicking this button will sort hotels from the lowest to the highest guest score.
guest score descending
This option lets you view all available hotels according to the guest score, from the highest to the lowest.
NARROWING RESULTS
Sorting search results is a convenient way of organizing results before getting to the details. However, it is far easier to narrow down the results by certain criteria. At Europe-Cities.com we know this fact and therefore offer 3 ways of narrowing down results.
by location
If you wish to see all hotels located in a given district, simply select the district from the list above the search results.

by budget
Sometimes it is easier to select hotels according to the price you are willing to pay. Nothing easier with Europe-Cities.com! Simply choose the price range that suits you best and the search will display only hotels in that specific price category.

by category
If you are interested in, for example, 3-star hotels in the city of your choice, simply select 3-star hotels from the drop down menu above the results list. The search will display all the three-star hotels in that city.

advance narrowing
You can also narrow your choice by selecting particular services according to your needs. Simply check one or more options, including Internet access, air conditioning, swimming pool or a restaurant, and the system will search for accommodation offering these facilities.

Please note, that our system allows combinations of all narrowing options within one search. So if you are searching hotels in the Ramblas area of Barcelona that have 3-star rating and cost from 50-70 EUR per double room and night, simply select your requirements from the list and our system will display such hotels in less than 10 seconds.
CHANGING YOUR SEARCH CRITERIA
You may need this option, in case you wish to change the date of your arrival, or add the number of guest within the same search. Fast and easy!

OPTIMIZING YOUR RESULTS
number of results per page
Depending on the number of available accommodation properties, the results may exceed one page. By default our system displays 20 offers per page. It is possible to display 10, 25, 50 or all the hotels in one page. Simply choose the best option from the drop down menu situated on the right-hand side above the results list.

choice of currency
Unless you choose otherwise, our system will display all prices in Euro (EUR). However, you can always change it to the currency of your choice by selecting the respective option from the drop down menu on the left hand side just above the list of search results.
