The spiral staircase and lobby lifts lead into a dramatic five-storey atrium, from where the hotel's 59 bedrooms are accessed. The building has retained a large portion of its original 19th–century features, and has meanwhile appointed young designers to create a contemporary look with wallpaper panels, ceramics and furniture. Guests are offered duck-down pillows, super fast broadband through interactive TV, movies on demand, and a library of 4,000 free digital music tracks. The bathrooms are equipped with large “Raindance” showerheads plus natural bath products by Elemis. The hotel amenities include 24–hour room service, and small extras, such as champagne, obtainable from the vending machines. The hotel's seven rooftop studios have mini-bars, huge floor–to–ceiling windows and patios to enjoy the view.
