It combines stylish, modern infrastructure and historical 18th century buildings. This centrally located little gem has sixteen rooms, all of which offer views of the old town of Solothurn and the Jura Mountains. Hotel guests can enjoy the sunset from the restaurant Aaregarten with an aperitif or a fine dinner. Later on, the lounge with its vaulted ceiling, is available for a night cap. A Full breakfast is served in the small hall or in the roofed green courtyard. Course rooms at the Altes Spital are suitable for seminars, banquets and exhibitions. The cultural events organised by the Altes Spital and a rock climbing room complete the wide range of offerings at the Hotel Aare. The baroque and traffic-free old town of Solothurn with its tourist attractions, restaurants and shops can be reached on foot from the Hotel an der Aare.
