The Inn's location is just about as good as it gets - nestling above the beautiful golden beaches of Bigbury Bay, in the magnificent South Hams area of outstanding natural beauty,with dramatic rolling hills, rivers and the breathtaking coastline. Close to the Dartmoor National Park, Plymouth, Modbury, Kingsbridge and the coastal towns of Salcombe & Dartmouth, the Inn makes the perfect base for exploring this beautiful unspoilt part of Devon. Our guests can enjoy varied activities from walking the South West Coastal Path or meandering the green lanes, to horseriding, fishing, shooting, golf or simply lazy days on the beach.Head chef Darren Dickinson has gained a reputation for his skillfully presented and imaginative food. Our daily menus are a testament to both his varied experience & his philosophy of using the very best available ingredients sourced locally & with an emphasis on fresh produce in season. Our meat comes from local suppliers and is fully traceable. Fish landed at Plymouth, Salcombe & Brixham is delivered fresh daily, in the autumn and winter months game from local estates is prominent on the menu. We smoke our own meats & fish & produce home cured and smoked bacon & ham. Honey from our own beehives is used throughout the menus
